Dragonball Evolution Review

I got to say, I am more then impress by this movie… it is my top 1 and I feel it will stay on my top 1 probably for the rest of my life… seriously! Top 1 if I count reverse… Before I go into details, I went into the cinema already knowing is bad so I have zero expectation, I know is going to be nothing like the Anime, I am in perfect health and metal condition. When I came out, I seriously have an actual headache. I have seen over thousands of movies and I have high tolerance… Now I am not trying to stop you to see the actual movie, you should as it open up your eye how bad an anime adaptation can ever gets, how f**k up a movie can get, how much wrong decisions can be made… is a good experience especially for ANYONE who wants to make a movie…

First this movie other then:

• It uses the name of Dragonball characters
• Certain character history are alike
• The name of the power
• The use of Dragonball is correct

Nothing is right… if you go in expecting to see Dragonball you have made a big mistake. Some people say, is an EVOLUTION like the title suggested. So it will be different. OK, is different but the word evolution means is better right? Is not! Is a de-evolution!

First, the director… I can seriously do a better job, my friend Remi will say “My sister can do a better job.” Seriously… the director make every possible mistake his could make. The slow motion, the angle of shooting, the flow of the movie… everything a director can possibly decide on is WRONG!

Second, the producer… Stephen Chow, there are only 3 ways I can reason myself. A) he is f**king paid well to put his name B) he is desperate for money C) he is testing his fan base, can he f**ks it up… I am sure he is have read the comic and how in the world he can let this go out?

Third of all, Akira Toriyama… I have high respect for him… until I see this movie, you have the IP of the century… one of the biggest and you let them screw it like this… Don’t tell me you don’t know how bad this is… you must know the plan and watch what they did… and still you let this go by? what is wrong with you?

Fourth, casting and actors… a white dude play Goku… firstly this whole idea of making an Anime into a movie is wrong! Some cartoon yes IE: Speed Racer… Dragonball? NO WAY… is like powerbuff girls in live action… no one in the world can pull that off… Now ok you really want to do it… AT LEAST FIND ASIAN to do it… he is Asian! Is like lets cast Batman with a black guy… I don’t care if that is Will Smith or whoever it just won’t fly! Chow Yun Fat… man… why do you even pick up this job… is a disgrace! I saw you in comedy in your early stuff where you act stupid, fine… at your current age and status… dude… you nuts? I want to support you as a fellow Hong Kong person but I am very sorry I can’t… ask yourself will Robert De Niro make himself stupid to this level? Emmy Rossum, why are you doing this to your career? OK others they don’t have anything to destroy, you in the other hand can SING and ACT… and you choose to dress like a trashy whore that is not even a porn or gangster movie…

Last but not last as I can go on and on….Screenplay… dude… even if you are not pay or for whatever reasons… is not excuse to produce something like that… did your original got swap accidentally by a version that a retard or your baby wrote? even so, is bad for a retard’s or a baby’s level… My grammar might suck but I can write something meaningful…

Oh btw, this is not just coming from a guy… my girl friend almost puked in the middle of the movie… I am serious she almost puke… I wonder can we file a lawsuit on a bad movie that is causes both mental and physical damage to his audience… any lawyer thinks is possible?

I AGAIN STRONGLY SUGGEST everyone to see it because is just stunning how bad a movie can ever gets! It worth every single penny as after seeing it it make every bad movie you paid to watch before suddenly not a bad decision… I felt good now watching or buying any previously bad movies…
