Japan Day 1

I am now on the bus to Shijuku… turn out the Narita Express is already close. I ask the local the fastest way and they say is the bus to Shijuku then take JR to Shibuya. Well, got to trust the local.

My last time in Japan is around 7 or 8 years ago when I went to Austin Texas for my training in my early career day. Yet that time I was just stopping by the Airport. So didn’t got much experience. Now really the last time I actual got to experience Japan is back when I am probably 7 or 8 where I have almost ZERO memory.

My visit this time to Japan is to meet with Peter Ackerly a very talented and passionate entrepreneur that wants to venture into the Game Industry. We are going to meet a banker friend of his and also a VC that is interested in investing on a project he and I created. So I probably need all the possible luck.

The Japan Narita Airport is stunningly less advance then I thought, it is actually quite old. yet is very clean, tidy and quite organize. Still after years of travel I have no experience any airport that is as advance as Hong Kong Airport.

The bus is going to take an hour and a half to arrive Shijuku. Can’t wait to see Japan! Hopefully I can still experience something at Midnight haha if Japan is as nightless as it claims to be!

Finally after almost 70 or 90 minutes of riding on a bus I arrive Shinjuku well I don’t see much lights… so I just went down to the station to take the train to Shinbuya… Nice enough a local help me to find the ticket cost and brought me to the platform. The station is quite pack.

I arrived Shinbuya and I realize how freaking cold Japan is… just a turtle neck with the big coat is not going to sustain it… I later went for a Ramen as it is the best I have tasted… most important of all is just by the street corner and is a small shop… WHY CAN’T HK have good Ramen?
