Nintendo reveal launching “Wii TV”, basically turn Wii into a TV set up box! I guess this should work well in Japan for Nintendo. But international Marketing will be hard to compete with Xbox or Sony even with a good head start.

Worlds.com is issue patent violation to NCSOFT. Worlds.com at 1995 patented a loose concept: “system and method for enabling users to interact in virtual space” and was granted patent at 2007… if this work… holy crap… everyone in Online game developer is in deep shit!

Next Mistwalker’s RPG cancelled for Xbox 360. Mistwalker is the studio that create blue dragon and lost odyssey with FF creator Hironobu Sakaguchi. Well this might be a relief for PS3… but I doubt it make much difference.

Playstation 2 is still the most played console for 2008, 31.7% played…research done by Nielsen. GO GRAB THIS REPORT (in PDF format)! Seriously is not really surprising, since in China and other 3rd world still a lot people are playing PS2… why? Privacy and ease of downloading/buy copy games…
